AGRICULTURAL COOPERATION OF SITIA

SITIA VSOP

White wine 75cl The aromatic and noble varieties "Vilana" ana "Thrapsathiri" from the blessed mountainous ecosystem of the province of Sitia produce this "appelation d' origine" wine. It has a delicate taste, balanced, pleasant, with an aromatic sensation of fruits. It is best served at 10-12oC and goes lovely with seafood and white meat

 

Red wine Red dry "appelation d' origine" wine, produced from select "liatiko" grapes. It is characterized by a deep ruby colour with a distinctive sheen, a delicate aroma and a pleasant body with velvety aftertaste. Best served at 15-18oC, it combines well with dishes in red or white sauce, grilled or stewed meat and cheese.

RETSINA KERNOS

Retsina KERNOS is produced in small quantities and the wine-making is done in ideal conditions. The ripe grapes of the selected varieties "Vilana" and "Rosaki" are harmonically combined with the characteristic color and taste of pine resin which has a fruity flavor along with the soft aroma and the balanced characteristics. It is distinguished for its clear yellowish color. It accompanies the traditional Greek “mezedes” (snacks) and plates. It is best consumed at 10-12C

Red sweet wine. Produced from the exquisite variety "liatiko" with the ancient technique of the dried-in-the-sun wines, with all the care and knowledge of the monks from the Toplou monastery. It has a ruby-red color, a pleasant aroma of cherries, dry fruit and nuts and an elegant and velvety flavor. It is a magnificent after-dinner wine served preferably at 8-10oC.
